My goodness didn’t Microsoft fill this app store with employee reviews eh!Yeh, annoyingly nothing like the superb github.com. So many shortfalls it’s frustrating. Search bar has no advanced syntax, cannot search for something inside a repo (or it’s not obvious how you would) and cannot search code. Erm, isn't that the whole purpose!? It’s disappointing that such a well respected name in the developer world gives back so little in the ios one. It’s a joke. Top tip, install Working Copy by @palmin, clone the repo of interest and use his app to search code. It’s what I do until Microsoft figure out how to make a dev’s life easier.
Impoverished functionality, limited utility
Channel 200
Lack of basic functionality (inability to bookmark repos opened from external links, fixed and tiny font size, lack of code line numbers, missing summary information about last changes on directory or file lines) render it a nice proof-of-concept, not much more.Developers were impervious to suggestions through TestFlight - it’s difficult to imagine what they believe this can do the standard site viewed in a web browser can’t do better.
