Here’s something we’ve been wanting to say for a long, long time: Photoshop has come to the iPad – so get those PSDs ready.
Photoshop for iPadOS is powered by the same code base that drives the iconic desktop version, and it adds a new customisable interface optimised for touch and Apple Pencil. It’ll look instantly familiar to longtime fans. Masking, adjustments, selections, and layering are all here. So are blend modes, spot healing, and the PSD format.

But Photoshop on iPad also feels like a new experience. Use the Lasso tool with Apple Pencil to trace around an object with precision. Or swipe with your finger to erase parts of a layer and reveal what’s beneath. To explore all that’s new, go to the app’s home screen and tap Learn for introductory videos and lessons on masking, creating composite images, and more.
Subscribe to monthly access right from the iPad app. Or, with your Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, you can access Photoshop on desktop and iPad; because PSDs are saved to the cloud, your changes sync automatically across all devices.
