A relaxing synth soundtrack helps you lock in and zone out…until you’re frantically fleeing enemies that want to delete you for good.

What we love: The amazing sense of perspective. Beautiful patterns of light shift and bend around you as you constantly reorient yourself in this bizarre techno environment. Just don’t become so mesmerized that you crash into a deadly red wall!

Quick tip: Making a quick 180-degree turn can sometimes throw off seeker-type foes. Wait until they get close, then juke out of the way and reverse course. It’ll take them a moment to catch up again, giving you time to hit a few more nodes.

Meet the creator: Semidome is the one-person Canadian studio behind Dark Wave and Smash Puck. Nightgate’s 40-minute original soundtrack was composed during the level-design process, ensuring the audio would perfectly match the visuals.
