Explore the app’s zany AR Lenses to finally discover what you’d look like as a worm with an enormous moustache! Tap the magnifying glass on the camera tab to launch Lens Explorer and spice up your Snaps with Filters, colourful effects and text.

Leverage the power of Snap Map to find nearby restaurants, sightseeing spots and more. Each spot has handy information such as directions, the busiest times to visit and Snaps taken in that location. To see all the places you’ve been, tap the Visited button.

Pro tip: If a location has a tag such as Cheap Eats or Family-Friendly, you can tap it to find nearby spots that also fit the bill.

Need to spill the tea in real time? The app lets you video chat with up to 15 of your friends. Tap the video camera on the upper right of a chat, throw on a goofy Lens and get gossiping!

Pro tip: To share your screen during a call, tap the screen share button, then tap Start Broadcast.

The app’s Spotlight feature is a one-stop shop for endless entertainment. Check it out to see videos from popular creators and what’s trending on the platform. Tap the heart to show your love for a creator’s video. Add your thoughts in the comment section, or reply to another creator’s comment to join the conversation.

Pro tip: Touch and hold a video to remix a Snap. Prompts will guide you as you put your own spin on videos in your Spotlight.
