If you’re a parent or teacher, getting your little ones engaged in learning has never been easier—or more fun. These educational apps introduce science, technology, engineering, and math through creative lessons for kids of all ages.

Explore the world of science
Ever wondered how fireworks work? Or why cats purr? Science for Kids by Tappity’s instructors bring science to life with hundreds of interactive videos. Explore daily science challenges and see your child’s learning progress through their very own journal.
Khan Academy Kids encourages children to learn at their own pace. Charming characters and original stories build foundations in reading, math, and logic.
BrainPOP’s animated movies pack a ton of information into just a few minutes. Explore the app’s science section to learn about ecology, chemistry, Earth systems, genetics, and so much more.

Get pumped for math
MathTango is proof that math is more fun with monsters, space stations, and desert islands. The app has two worlds: MathTango Island, where kids dive into addition and subtraction, and Starbase MathTango, for multiplication and division.
Funexpected Math is an around-the-world adventure that teaches concepts through the lens of human culture. Immersive puzzles turn geometry, counting, algorithms, and logic tasks into an adventure across 14 different countries. (We counted!)

Develop coding chops
In this charming puzzle game, little ones improve their logic skills and basic coding abilities by figuring out how to use contraptions like bursting balloons and jiggly jellies to guide cute critters to safety.
Welcome to Fuzztopia, a world where kids can learn how to code from the ground up. Kodable makes the process fun, with over 80 lessons and interactive challenges that provide kids with the skills needed to become a programmer.
Hopscotch is a programming playground that provides kids with tools and tutorials so they can create their own code from scratch. Play fun games made by other kids in the app’s community section or get creative and publish your own!
In codeSpark Academy, kids learn to code using an animated world that (subtly) conveys the core concepts of programming through puzzles and games. The app is based on a curriculum developed at MIT, Carnegie Mellon, and Princeton.
