Wavelength

Can you read your friends’ minds?

Are hotdogs haute cuisine or a pet food? Is darts a sport or a game? Is garlic soup safe or dangerous to eat on a date? Some of life’s most pressing conundrums are explored in the wildly fun party game Wavelength – and to solve them (or at least pretend you have), you’ll have to read your friends’ minds.

What we love: This is one of the best games on the App Store to play with pals. As a team you need to work together to move a red dial as close to the centre of a target on a spectrum as possible – the spanner in the works is that only one of you knows exactly where that target is.

Work together with your friends to move the red dial as close to the target as possible.

Quick tip: You can begin with the free Starter Pack of spectrums (for example, Villain to Hero, Useless to Useful), but you’ll probably run out fast. Go for an upgrade pack, such as Divisive Nonsense or Big Brain for even more absurd and hilarious questions.

Meet the creator:
Wavelength is based on the famous board game of the same name. Brooklyn–based developers Alex Hague, Casey Pugh and Kristen Leach created the mobile version of the game in 2020 after social distancing set in, enabling fans to play remotely with friends and family.
