This is a good game, but one thing that could make it better, then it would be the best. I accidentally sold Legs, the sprite (The blue one that everyone receives when sprites are unlocked.) Legs is powerful, also I noticed if you sell a forever sprite, it is gone forever. The sprites are cute, and I like the boosts they give you... but where’s the buyback button? They don’t have one! That’s upsetting because when I absentmindedly clicked sell instead of upgrade I can’t get it back. I would like to see a button to buyback sold sprites. I love how you brought in all the heroes and Shadow! The characters have special powers and I really like that. I also like to compare the fact that the old games like Sonic 2 had only Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, but you brought in them all. Another thing I noticed is that no matter how far I run, the Village map (The location for Shadows Run challenge) isn’t in normal runs, you have to be playing Shadow’s event. This would be a nice addition to the game. Also, I would like to see an alternative way to evolve Sprites, because I don’t like to give it my forever Sprites, like maybe using Red Star Rings (Please don’t make it to much rings I have to go on a Red Star Ring Budget.) Other than the aforementioned issues, this game has it all.Thanks SEGA!

I know this game might not receive any more updates because it’s discontinued at this point, and this review might either be ignored or not noticed, but as much as I love this game it needs a couple of fixes. When you play the game it gets really buggy. Sometimes when I go onto the spring and jump off of the rail from the sky I can’t dash or jump for a very short time, but this made me lose in a run last time. Another glitch is like an invisible magnet that attracts all of the orbs and rings out of nowhere to you and you automatically get your dash filled and get many rings, but this glitch isn’t a bad one since it really helps in a run. Other times when you collect a enerbeam power up that is placed in front of a enemy or obstacle, you still get hit by it and lose rings once you collect an enerbeam, other times you don’t get hit and it counts as a dodge to your combo score. The worst bug I hate the most is when the game randomly crashes and it doesn’t save your score, it’s even worse when you are playing in a event. One time I was in a event to get the highest score possible, I had 66 Million score in a run, but then the app crashed randomly, and once I opened the app back up in didn’t save my score and I ended up in last place, back to 0 score. The game is fun it’s just ruined by bugs. And not to mention how hard it is to get red rings, which makes the characters really expensive. But I do find it kind of fair that you can earn them in events. But I won’t complain about how expensive the forever sprites are to upgrade because ever since I unlocked Amy gaining a lot of rings is now no problem for me. Also the prizes you get out of chests and paper boxes is not really helpful most of the time. I think all prizes should give you red rings, and the highest amount it can give you is 20. Even platinum and emerald chests doesn’t give you much good stuff. I hope one day this game gets plenty of fixes

To start, the game isn't bad--it's pretty fun. But the game is just... a watered-down Sonic Dash (the original mobile game). It doesn't feel as fast, there's not as much content, such as no boss fights nor chompers (which are replaced by some rails {that you can find in Sonic Forces mobile anyways} and tilting gimmicks), and the levels are just so empty and repetitive, including the fact that there's barely any gaps in the terrain and no hills or loops. Also, getting characters is a PAIN (a very long grind for some special abilities that barely matter), and the only fun things ('events') are locked behind tickets that I assume you either have to buy or wait for.Meanwhile, Sonic Dash is just more vibrant, more diverse, more challenging, less grindy, and faster (which is the entire point of Sonic), and it has actual seasonal events for cool skins. It also has an additional house-building mechanic.Overall, don't play this unless you REALLY enjoy it. Play Sonic Dash instead...... Oh right, those sprites that the Apple editors cherish so much. Well, they boost specific things, which is cool, but either cough up the cash or wait a day to get one. Did I mention they're only a one-time use?

Sonic Boom Dash is (in my opinion) the best sonic mobile game and the best running game in general. I really like the events and different abilities each character has. Although every game has its downs. Please take some time to process through this. Please make the characters less pricey. If not, then please make the red rings more common. And when you get the swing box ( where you go up and swing using your phone), please make it so when you get the box, nothing will damage you until you go up and swing and come back down. Also please make the upgrades a little less pricey as well. Also for some reason, after a day of having the game on my phone, I got on the game, and for some reason it showed me the tutorial again even though I didn’t want that. And when it ended, I thought I lost all my progress, but then it went back to where I am. So please take your time to go though this. Overall, this is a really nice game, and I highly recommend this over all running games.
