I've really enjoyed using this for several years now, both for journaling, and writing about life experiences and memories. Not for publication, but for myself and family. Keeping things organized and in order is so nice, and being able to compile it with the proper part and chapter divisions is great. I've enjoyed the split-window function on iPad, to work with two documents at the same time. Also, the VoiceOver accessibility is excellent! Thanks for a very helpful tool.
Highlight Problem

Overall a great app, even though not updated in two years. The problem (Mr. Developer) is that when you try to highlight text the color picker immediately dismisses and returns to edit mode. The text cannot actually be highlighted. I’m sure there are other small issues like this that are a result of changes in the OS over time. That’s why regular updates are important ;)
Best option for Writing on Your Phone

I have tried many ways to write on my phone. Word, notes, etc. scrivener is the best I have found, and then when combined with Dropbox I can use desktop scrivener for editing. Keep up the good work! One very nice potential feature to add would be the ability to do word counts within all the documents within a folder.

I have used this app a lot. It is my main tool for writing my book series. Recently there has been a bug that has been very annoying. If I want to center a paragraph or use any tools the tool crashes almost immediately. I would like to regain access to those tools. This would go back to a 5 star app if you could fix this bug.
Scrivener 1.2.4 fixes a bug in 1.2.3 whereby creating a new card on the corkboard would cause a crash.
1.2.3 release notes:
• Updated for iOS 17.
• Fixed issue whereby you could tap outside of the new text/folder sheet to dismiss it, and thus accidentally lose a synopsis you were adding.
• Fixed bug whereby “Split” didn’t work in the text when the selection was at the end.
• Fixed bug whereby the “Style to” scriptwriting setting did not work.
• Fixed bug whereby the “Style to” scriptwriting setting could cause a crash in some circumstances.
• Fixed crash that could occur when setting certain fonts as the default, and in other circumstances related to font changes.
• Fixed bug whereby the keyboard accessory bar on the iPhone might be cut off by phone features such as the home bar.
• Fixed bug whereby the “Look Up” popover in the main text and notes would disappear immediately.
