I have a macbook pro M3 Max with a bluetooth connected xbox controller. This set up works on the resident evil game. I bought the three game pack hoping to play all three tomb raiders. Unfortunatley none of the three tomb raider games recognizes that I have a connected game pad.Update: I am updating to a 4 star. I had daily emailing with Feral Interactive customer support to fix this issue. There were two problems:1- They don't have the coding for an Xbox controller built into the game. They had to send me a file to put in the game files to make it detect the connected Xbox controller2-I put it in the wrong folderTheir customer support was exemplary, working through this issue with me over the course of a week until we figured out the problem. I am giving a 4 star because ... really ... to connect an Xbox controller I have to ask for a special file and then it is up to me to install it correctly? How about an update to the app with the file that's necessary installed where it is ssupposed to be.

I have used a regular xbox one controller which doesn’t work at all and an xbox series x controller which only works when connected via bluetooth. However, The back or “select” button is inoperable and there isn’t any vibration. For an app this old, stating that it has native controller support, this is unacceptable. I’ve looked online for fixes (which I shouldn’t need to do) and haven’t found anything that helps me to get a controller working properly. I have a MacBook Pro M4, 16GB RAM - base model. If the devs are still monitoring reviews, I could use some help, or a refund.**Update** After looking at the system files and finding a very old Reddit post, I learned the Sony DualShock 4 controller should work well with this game and most others. I got one and it does work. However, I don’t have a PS4, so I can’t update the firmware. I should not have had to buy a new controller to play a game with controller support. I’m tired of troubleshooting, so I’m updating the review to three stars, because the port runs well on my MacBook. I’m too old for this. I think I’ll just get a game console and be done with it.

this one has many beautiful maps with many interesting tomb riddles... even after you are done with the story (which is good), you still have extra objectives to do and I really enjoy the mysterious scenes of the witch cave (one of my favorite challenge). if you enjoy shooting amd fighting and the smart behavior of enemy, the previous one (underworld) is better. I can tell the obvious... because this one doesn't give you as much upgrade of weapon and fight skills as the other one. the enemy also seems to be less "intelligent" so you can kill them easier. I love tomb challenge because of the mysterious and rusty feel of ancient tombs... also in this one every map and tomb are completely different... scenes are well invested... so many riddles that can hurt your head sometimes but also make the game enjoyable. I enjoyed it so much that I wish it was longer but I actually spent quite a good time playing the game. So the money was well spent.

I’m only a few hours deep in this game, but already it’s one of the coolest games I’ve played. I doubt I’ll finish it soon—and what’s the rush? I wanted to put a tip here to save people some time. I have a steelseries Nimbus controller that did not work at first. I emailed support, and they emailed back pretty fast with a possible solution. HOWEVER, I was able to fix it myself before they emailed. I went into the Mac system settings—>bluetooth—>Nimbus—>clicked i—>game controller settings. There was a compatibility toggle to make games treat it like an xbox controller which I switched on. Quit and relaunched Rise of the Tomb Raider, and it works! Just like that. Support was fast (thanks, y’all), but this was faster. And thank the game gods for that, because this game rocks!
