I wish the roll out of the special events was more consistent. We check the dates for the upcoming events and look forward to them. They frequently do not arrive on time for us despite checking for updates. We still aren’t able to see the Hanami event. UPDATE: thanks for the quick response. We love the special events. Looking forward to the Easter one.

I wish I read all of the reviews first!!There was supposed to be a FREE trial period but we were charged over $85 for a subscription fee! We downloaded the app and it was really difficult to get started. We had to sign in or make an account. While trying to make a new account it asked for an email and said a verification email was sent but nothing ever showed up. We tried to go back to the start and make an account, we just typed our email and a password even though it never had us set up any information or anything we somehow finally got access to the game. We explored the app a little bit, maybe less than 30 minutes but it’s ultimately not really what we expected so we deleted the app right away, same day. The math concepts just seemed to be a little younger aged, below the level we chose and it didn’t seem to have the content we had hoped for so we will not be using it. However, I just now realized the app had already somehow charged me for a full subscription! I couldn’t find anything where I had agreed to pay for their subscription and I couldn’t find anywhere to cancel it! Still haven’t received an email but I’m working with Apple now to hopefully get a refund but watch out!! It’s an expensive mistake!!

Horrible sign up process

Credentials do not store in Apple keychain making it extremely difficult to set this app up on multiple devices. Creating an account with Apple makes it near impossible to use this account on another device cause you can’t know the email credentials. Creating an account with email prevents password suggestions, won’t permit you to paste a password, and won’t let you change a password once created! If you fail to remember the password your email account is permanently prevented from creating a mew account or changing said password as you can’t login via their website. Installing on a child’s device via magic link doesn’t work cause it’s likely sent to YOUR email account which is not on the child’s device. You then have to copy the link from your email, text it or email it to your child, disable safari restrictions, allow safari website accessibility, then click the link. I literally spent 30 minutes trying to get it to work on my kids device while simultaneously locking myself out of my account cause I don’t remember the password I created. This is a terrible user experience!!!!

Please, note that you definitely can change the password for your account at any time. If you enter a wrong password you will see the link to the Forgot your password section and will be able to change it. If you are using the sign in with Apple option, then it is definitely more convenient in case you have the same Apple id on another device. We did the free trial period. There’s no option for a parent override of the level. Because of issues with the app not recognizing poor handwriting (like recognizing a 6 or 9 as a 0) or my kid accidentally tapping the wrong thing without being able to correct it herself, she’s stuck on levels that are too easy for her. I like a lot of the games, particularly the balance used for division, but if I can’t adjust the level, it’s not worth the money.

In the Parents Dashboard in the Discover section, you can open an individual game to read more about it and change its difficulty level. You can also adjust the overall learning program difficulty in the app Settings. We really appreciate your feedback and we’ll keep it in mind as we continue improving the experience.
