I changed over all of my Doctors from another well known Medical System to join the Northwell System after having met some really great doctors that I was going to be seeing on a regular basis due to major medical conditions that landed me in the hospital several years ago. At that time little did I know how handy this App would make it for me personally to send and receive messages with regards to but not limited to my health with these physicians and their offices. I Can check on my upcoming visits and even on the ones I have had in the past. I also can write in an area that is a journal which I love and it allows my husband with my permission to be able to log in on his account and be able to read whatever part of my records that I want him to see. They value my privacy so they asked me questions first as to what is to be viewed and then I sent him a link that I told him the numbers and he had to know the numbers in order to be able to ok the first run through and from there on the information is automatically added to his main screen. For the past 3.5 yrs that I have been seeing all of my physicians though this system I can not say how valuable this portal has been to me. When COVID-19 hit I think it took on more of a vital part of my using it because I can reach my physicians office much easier and quicker this way. You also always have the written word and a time and date to refer back to if something is forgotten. I really think that if you do not have access to or choose not to use it you are at quite a disadvantage.

Not only myself but my elderly father have been seeing UroPartners. Your practice is a godsend to me as not only a patient but also a caregiver. Your staff goes above & beyond at all times. Laurie & Amy are a great asset to your practice. They are always pleasant, welcoming, & always accommodating with a smile & eagerness to please. Amy & Laurie both create a relaxing atmosphere for your patients. Nursing care is exceptional. Amanda is excellent. She’s driven, competent, thorough, & caring. Amanda is always thinking outside the box especially with my father. For example, I needed a paper script for Methanamine. I sent a message through Follow MyChart. I had an appointment in Geneva on the 2nd floor. Amy (Being in Wheaton) & Laurie (Laurie being in Geneva) collaborated together to obtain the script. After my appointment, I stopped in the Geneva office. Laurie had called Amanda who had Dr P sign the Rx & printed it in Geneva. I walked in & Laurie handed me the script . I’ve been in healthcare over 30 years & that was definitely teamwork. They demonstrated a solid commitment to UroPartners. Dr Papageannopoulos & Dr Trockman are also excellent. They are compassionate, accommodating, & very good listeners. They actively involve the patient & family members in decisions. I truly feel the UroPartners is a well run, dedicated, & committed practice in this world today. Thanks for all you’ve done for me and especially in accommodating my father in his final years of life.

When I say good old fashion dog, I mean his docs, that’s been more than five minutes with you These are doctors that come in and sit down and look you in the eye and they get this, have a conversation with you a real conversation and they don’t get up and walk backwards towards the door while you’re in the middle of your conversation like the docs and some of the larger groups and I have seen this and I have experience that happening, and it is hurtful and it is shameful that you will not have it here, but you will not be treated like that here !!! It feels like a like you’re going to see it. Good friend it’s nice small cozy friendly atmosphere. I love getting to see the nurses in the doctors and you know everybody’s like in the same room’s interacting. And you see everybody it’s not hard to get a hold of anyone. You can always get an appointment most the time you can get the same day appointment. I just can’t say enough nice things about Mackey family practice. I’ve been going to her for 20 years and I am still going there if they’ll put up with me

As a brand new user of the access portal, thus far, I have had very little issues with the program. The lay out is simple for the most part, and easy to navigate. You can update, correct, and change any missed information if you choose. View all your standard information from dr’s visit, get lab or diagnostic test results once released by the dr. I give 4 stars because there is always room for improvement, and I just started using it. So I have yet to have an issue with the app myself. Would recommend everyone being seen at HCH, to download and use. Many times we have to be our own advocate to our health. And as a person that has worked in healthcare all my life. It’s important to have this information at your fingertips so u can plan for your follow up questions, if you feel the dr maybe missing something, or you forgot to talk about certain issues while seeing the dr. A person needs to be able to have that info so when u see the dr again you have a list of things that you want to express concern about. Dr’s are not gods, and what they say is not imprinted in gold…. But they are medical angels that keep us as healthy as we can be. Your input important. Knowledge is important. First stop should be your portal after seeing your dr. And truly be an advocate for your own health and medical issues!!! PluS you know your body better than anyone else, so educate yourself on your body since we now can access our medical records… remember the days u never saw the inside of that 3 inch folder, or wondered what the dr wrote about your visit!!
