1st, to me after years of playing this app, there are less ads than most of the other cryptogram games, Usually after finishing a puzzle. Sometimes it may have a long ad, so I close out the app then re-open it and the next ad is short again. I think it automatically takes advantage if you keep waiting thru the long ads. As soon as I realize it’s a long ad, I close the app and reopen it, then they are short again. Sometimes when I’m playing this game it will give 2 puzzles before an ad shows up. It looks like I’m newer to this app, but I’m not. I just added it to another phone. I have enjoyed this app for a quite a few years and love it. Some of the messages when solved are somewhat profound. This app never ends, I have had a few repeats, but it continues with almost all new puzzles. I have tried the other cryptogram apps and they have constant ads and it doesn’t take me long to get thru all the puzzles they have. I suggest this app if you like these types of puzzles. I don’t have glitches or any problems for that matter, with this app. It does not freeze, nothing, just hours of enjoyment.

I have been playing this game for years now and still love it! I find that there's a good mix of easy and difficult puzzles as well as a good mix of modern and historical quotes! The new stats dialog is really fun to track my games. It's nice that I can see my times over time. Very happy to see too that they added an auto advance setting to move to the next open letter! Also pleased to see that we can see the letters that have already been used. I'll be playing Cryptograms for a long time coming. Keep up the good work!Update: It’s great to see the addition of the “More” menu! I like that I can click on another game and it goes right into it.Update 2: It seems like there are a bunch of new quotes in the latest update. Really enjoying some of them and finding a few thought provoking. Some of the longer quotes are easier to solve than the short ones since there are more clues but I think that’s OK. It makes the next game a surprise difficulty! It would be nice to be able to reset your stats. Hopefully an easy change! Thanks again for this great game.

The ads can be annoying, but that’s true of most games that don’t cost you money. It’s a nice, simple program design and a good way to kill down time on planes and in waiting rooms.The only issue can be with the quotes. I’ve never been so jaded with the “wisdom” of the world than since I started playing this game. I never realized how much empty bull the human race could produce just because they think someone is listening. And I swear half of the quotes come from some random guy named Roy T. Bennett who very much thinks he has all the answers you’ll ever need. It’s like he only speaks in crossstitch samplers. I’ve become adept at identifying my starting words by looking for something that looks like “success,” “happiness,” or arrangements like “we cannot” or “in this world” or “we were born to” etc. Any one of a number of cliches. So be warned about that. There’s a vast amount of Facebook meme wisdom packed into this game.

I enjoy the challenge of this game & appreciate the broad spectrum of quotes. Even quotes that may be disagreeable are thought provoking. I don’t agree with living by concepts like; living in an echo chamber, sweeping things under the rug, censoring, trigger warnings, or any milk-mush teeth concepts. I appreciate the simple interface without any showy/flashy graphics. I like the transition to the completed quote even though others have mentioned it. I know I’m completing it so why wait any longer for the anticipated results!? I am interested in how the stats are measured even though I’m only competing with myself. It seems that when I make a ‘fat thumb’ mistake it sets me back more than it takes to make it up with perfect solutions. The ads aren’t terrible thankfully but occasionally it’s a struggle to close them. Not unlike any other apps though.
