FlowStack: Focus Task Timer
Ratings & Reviews
A very useful app for short term (the next hour or the full day) planning, and then executing the plan flexibly, keeping track of time. Since the original release the developer has gradually made various nice improvements. For me, adding the ability to sync across devices (iPhone and iPad) would make the app pretty much ideal.
I have ADHD - and timed routine builders work very well for me. I have tried them all (paid and unpaid) and this minimal no clutter one is simply the best. All the rest are extremely clunky or are trying to be “everything apps.” The interface is pleasing to look at but non-distracting and the routines are easy to build and rearrange. Most importantly for someone with time blindness, the app allows you to move through the routine one step at a time in a timed focus mode. The developer has ADHD and built this app for themselves and it really shows in the functionality. I think the only feature maybe I would like is an auto play for some routines with alerts for the transitions.
FlowStack is the app I’ve been looking for. It’s clean, calm, and easy to use, but still powerful enough to make a real difference in how I work. The layout keeps me focused without distractions, and building or running a session feels effortless. It pairs perfectly with my main task manager by helping me move from planning to actually doing. Since I started using FlowStack, I’ve been getting far more done with a lot less mental strain. It keeps me in motion, helps me stay present, and makes my workday flow in a way that feels natural.I can’t recommend this app enough. It’s simple, effective, and genuinely helps me get things done. I installed it on my personal phone, work phone, and even my Mac! (Hoping for a Mac app)
Good concept of an app and a really clean UI! it also offers a pretty generous free tier which I’m so grateful for. I like the seamless integration of the timer on the dynamic island, and I hope you add some nice widget options. Thank you for making this app, truly!
