I think it’s good and helps a bit I wouldn’t use it as the only app you study with but it still definitely helps especially because it doesn’t feel like studying it feels like reading interesting stories. I will say you have to pay for ALOT of stuff I personally won’t pay cause I’m surprising someone by learning Spanish but if your will to pay it will be even more helpful.

This app has a lot of potential but everything is super limited if you’re using the free version. The 5ish stories you get per day are 3/4 A1 level, which makes it hard for me to find challenging texts since I read at a more advanced level. The content in each story is very surface-level and doesn’t go in-depth into anything interesting. One story’s content didn’t even answer the question in the title. It’s a cool concept but I’d love to see more work put into providing more options for advanced levels in the daily content, and being able to read more than just a paragraph per story.

These captivating stories are packed with original materials and fun facts which is very motivating. You can listen to the recording of the story while reading it, if you want to. If you find a word you don’t know, you just press on it and concise explanations are shown. There are optional quizzes with 4 questions to check your comprehension. If you don’t answer them correctly, you can repeat the quiz, as many times as you want to. Bite-sized grammar lessons are included. What’s also nice is that you can choose which stories you read according to your reading level. You can definitely learn a lot without being overwhelmed or feeling pressured. It’s a very fun way to learn!

I’ve been struggling to find the one in all app for Spanish immersive learning. Some apps only have stories, some only vocab, some only have robotic voices to read the stories… this app connects all the features together and has all one might need in consistent language learning. I love how thorough it is on every single detail - including part of speech, conjugation and common expressions for vocabs, using spaced repetition, having a grammar and quiz tab, a human (like) narrator for the stories… interface is pretty too. This is the perfect app I’ve been looking for!

This app offers stories based on your Spanish level with useful features like a built in dictionary and text reader. It’s good for bite-sized Spanish content. However, the cost of this subscription is $70 a year, which is up to the user to determine if it is worth it. For me, it is highly overpriced. There is a free version, but it only offers 5 “articles” a day. Sometimes these articles can be as short as a few sentences in A1 Spanish.My advice is unless you’re willing to pay the $70 per year to read the articles, I’d look somewhere else for news stories. You could get more from other free apps.

Features are all encompassing. Truly. So many options for all learning types and reinforcement. I listen to the story/article. Then I click on any words I don’t know. Immediately and easy to grasp the translation with conjugate options and a pronunciation are offered. Then I read the same article and then I voice it myself. I save any words I don’t know to the study cards. So quadruple reinforcement.My one complaint: MORE, there are only a handful of stories each week.
