The whole point of this game is solving puzzles quickly, is it not? The fun of it is in racing yourself to see if you can beat personal bests… right? Ok, great. Please change the way the highlighted box that accepts the next entry for a letter defaults based rigidly on rote order rather than intelligently defaulting to the next EMPTY box. In nearly every game, it’s almost impossible not to type over your own entries and jumble the words because the default keeps highlighting FILLED boxes and placing new entries in places that are already taken, forcing you to slow down and reposition the highlighter manually after every single entry. It’s a maddening issue and the game would be a lot more fun if it were fixed.
*****PLEASE ADD THE ABILITY TO TURN OFF THE HAPTIC FEEDBACK***** This game is fantastic for any crossword fan. You will truly enjoy it. If you like haptic feedback you’ll enjoy it even more since there’s no way to turn it off. I will be rating it a five star because star rating system are crap and we all know they 1 through 4 is truly a zero while the five is the only real valued rating. Switching to a 1-10 rating system I would give this game a 7/10, with haptic feedback option it would be solid 9/10.Edit: thank you so much for replying to my review! It’s 10/10 now that I can turn off the haptic feedback! Thanks again and keep up the great work!

I have completed over 700 daily puzzles and at times I go back to previous months to solve unsolved Daily puzzles via the Archive button. However, the Archive button always resets to current month and as such, I have to tap back over 40 months through to get to a month where there are unsolved puzzles. Is it possible to have the archive button retain the last month worked on instead of defaulting to the current month?
Then this game is for you!IMO this is the perfect word game. 1. If you like to maintain a streak you can try the 3 daily puzzles. If you’re sick one day or if you forget, you have a chance to play 7 days in a row to make it up. Oh, and on these dailies you have unlimited hints! If you don’t care about streaks you can just play whenever.2. Then there are the monthly puzzle books, 30 regular puzzles and 30 tricky puzzles a month. Here you only get 6 hints but you can earn back hints you used by completing a puzzle perfectly. The first few are easy but they get harder as the month passes. If you hang in there as the month goes by you will find the themed puzzles which are even more fun.Took me a while to get to love this app and learn how it works but now I try to play every day since I love word games to wake up my brain. : )
A creative mashup of Wordle, Crosswords, and Sudoku. The puzzles can be quick or head scratching. The interface is simple and beautiful and controls are intuitive. The soundtrack and sound effects are whimsical and pleasing. The daily and monthly puzzles are a clever way to organize things. The detailed stats are a welcome addition. The ONLY possible area of improvement? Sharing. Although you can share your results, the graphic image doesn’t display any additional information beyond the time it took to solve and hints used. The Wordle shares are great as they depict guesses. Maybe something similar could be done hi-lighting words that were discovered correctly in one attempt. Hands down, the best game on Apple Arcade. Word Knots is a blast. I really am enjoying this game so far. The daily puzzles are challenging and addicting to solve. My only critique with this game is the menu navigation. There’s the daily puzzles which makes sense. But then you have the puzzle books which I assumed were static levels, but they are instead monthly puzzles that are limited. That confuses me a bit. Like why have two modes that are both time sensitive? That confuses me a bit. The game doesn’t have any instructions or documentation either on what the differences are between these modes, so we’re just left with figuring it out ourselves. Maybe include a question mark with a description of what the mode means next to the button, and then have a pop up that explains what the mode does. But overall, a really fun app! Thanks for making this fun and challenging word game!
