I love the idea of the app. Growing up and learning more about real history- stuff that was hidden from me as a kid, makes me wanna like the app. I want to learn more about stuff that actually happened. Not just fluffed up stuff that uplifts the worlds oppressors. However, i hate the AR aspect. I’m in my room and can’t find any open space. I just wanna learn about the history. I don’t care about putting it in my living room. This kept me from using the app. I didn’t even get to learn what I wanted to because I didn’t have the proper space. Also can’t use it when it’s dark out.
This app is so great. It brings education and modern technology together. I’m always one for learning new things but prefer it in an interactive way and this app does just that. I’ll be walking down the street using this application and consistently learning because of its awesome AR qualities. This is great for kids and I sent it to all my cousins to download. If you want someone to learn more about black history in a fun, interactive way this is the app to do it!! Can’t wait to use this everyday :)
I really like using this app, it’s a fun and educational tool that opens up a new world of interactive learning about black and brown history in a visual & artistic way. Love the sound interaction and option to record my thoughts on each monument. It even has an option for you to record and your own video narrative to friends& family. Definitely has so many possibilities and is easy to use.
Very informative yet short and easy to grasp instructions on how to use the app! The layout is also so lovely, as a whole, it makes it easy for me to find what buttons im looking for. And for extra points the colors, texts & images are sooo aesthetically pleasing, i have already recommended it to several people
This app is beautifully done. I love the background visuals as well as the monuments. I think this is an excellent way to teach black and brown history in a fun and innovative way. I love the style and simplistic style of the app and hope to see it in schools soon. I think teachers and students will love it a lot. Beautiful way to teach, and amazing illustrations.
I love the aesthetics and how the app is styled from colors to voices and music. This is a great idea to teach especially the younger gen who learns through interacting with technology. I hope this app expands to Civil Rights history throughout the world in places like the Caribbean and Brazil.
