Before you just think I’m going to dump on this game, I’m not. I just want to criticize it so you can make it better. First off, I think the amount of updates this game gets is underwhelming. Sure it came out years ago and it’s offline but it still has tons of room for improvement. Before I say what I don’t like, I’m going to say what I do like. I actually really like the story levels and their difficulty. I also like the challenges you need to do to earn stars. I like the achievement system and how you can use rings to upgrade characters to make their ability last longer. Now I’m going to talk about what I don’t like about this game. I think that the end game is very boring and there is next to nothing to do mainly because the game is just a campaign. I think the roster of characters is painfully mediocre. Sure it’s cool to have team dark and chaotix but it’s still lack luster compared to the original game. Speaking of the original game, it is miles better in quality and costs $3.99 less (it was free). I think the easiest way to make this game better is making it free, because the game would fit the price of being free. But if you actually want to put effort in then I think you should still update the game. Gameloft, if you ever read this, please listen to my criticisms and try to fix them with an update. I still love your games I just think this one is unbearably mediocre and could be improved easily.

  • Good overall

    um idk what to put

RIP TEAM ROSE where’s Amy??? Or cream??? I don’t really care about big but he should still be here! Also how come you get rid of team Rose but the team chaotix is here?!?! Also blaze silver and Tikal WHERE ARE THEY!?!?!?! Amy is my favorite character in the franchise (shadow coming in close second) where is she??? And the rest of team rose??? Ok I’ve spent enough time talking about missing FEMALE characters (btw rouge is the only female character in this game) but I have to commended you this music and gameplay is amazing 🤩 but one last problem.... IM TERRIFIED OF ALL OF THE OMOCHAO THERE SOO SCARY couldn’t you just make a sonic tails and knuckles reg chao? Omochao is terrifing. Also cool idea you could have teams like sonic and tails Amy and shadow (witch I would totally use go shadamy) silver and blaze (btw I also ship silvaze) tangle and whisper (from idw) maybe even tails and cosmo (cosmo is from sonic x witch I have watch both sub and dub versions of) oh what about Sonia and manic? (Sonics bro and sis from sonic underground) or maybe sonic and sally (sally is from satAM and Archie comics also I hate sonally but a lot of people ship it and it would be good for business) and finally last (but not least) you could have knuckles and rouge! In conclusion having one female character makes you seem sexist and is definitely WRONG.Sincerely sonic fanatic who is twelve years old

  • This game is good (even though on the sonic wiki said that this game is unavailable

A game that was to be made

I used to have this on my iPad and I downloaded it again and played this back in 2018 and here. I am playing the game in 2024. I might make a sonic fan game and Sonic Runners 2 which is a 3-D and 2-D game that has improved physics characters uses their console/PC designs instead of iPad and phones and I believe that if this fangame was real I would make a sonic model go with the frontiers model because I just like that model anyways wish you a merry Christmas and I’ll see you guys tomorrow peace peace, and get ready for the scratch website to get raided on the 7th of December :( (and yes, I don’t know when it will end and you basically have to not update about what you’re doing and close The profile picture comments OK I think I’m going a bit off topic I was back to talking about this fangame I have been rambling about two seconds. this fangame would have accurate sonic voice acting, and the animations just looks very accurate to the current year animations you guys have to check out the game shadow generations that was peak anyways i skiwin am gonna stop this here I’m gonna continue playing this game :)

Ok now i was a big fan of the first sonic runners. I loved the levels, the great selection of buddies and characters, the modes etc.. when they announced the closure of the first game a got depressed because i only got to play it for 2 months. But when i found out that a new sonic runners game was coming out i literally freaked out. And being honest i expected it to be free but no...(that doesn’t matter anymore) and i expected a lot of characters, buddies and infinite levels(levels that do not end when completing goals) also a leaderboard.I know that the levels are not randomly generated because its an offline game and that feature was my top wish that happens to sonic runners and thank you for that. The thing is that i have some suggestions. First, you could add more characters, buddies and LEVELS of course. You could also add an endless mode by all means that works offline “have some map layouts saved for endless mode that changes randomly as the race progresses so that endless layouts are not the same”that is one of my top wishes now. And finally, some elements of the first one. Thats all i have in mind. But out of that its well made. Please read this

  • Great Fun, but Needs Better iPhone X Controls

    ItsOnlyMe206

I really enjoy this game, it’s a fun and challenging game that I often pick up to play. At first it was just when I had some time to kill waiting in lines, but then I found myself coming back frequently! The app works great on my iPad Pro. Unfortunately, however, it is extremely frustrating to use on my iPhone X. The game requires landscape mode, which is fine, but it constantly seems to think I’m trying to leave the game to multitask, pausing the game and bringing up the app tray or going to the home screen. I then have to return to the game and wait several seconds to restart the run. This isn’t something occasional; it happens several times in every run. It becomes very frustrating. It seems like the game is hypersensitive to touch. I make a point to avoid touching the screen with more than just my one fingertip, but it isn’t easy given that it’s a full screen app with no bezels or space to hold the phone while you play. I really hope they improve the app for iPhone X. Until then, however, I’m limited to playing this on my iPad Pro. It’s unfortunate, though, as I would play a lot more often if I could do it on my phone.

  • Too simple, but LOVE the Adventure 2 Battle references

The game isn’t bad, it’s just not as great as it could be. The “story” is almost non-existent (after each arbitrary level is some dialogue. Ooo wow) and everything reeks of Mario Run in its appeal to simplicity (particularly in controls, which granted makes it easy to pick up but gets tedious and brain-melting rapidly). I especially hate how, several times per level, you completely lose control of the character so you can say “ Oh wow!” as “you” run through some loop or grind a rail (i.e. anything you can’t do with just a tap). Overall, it’s just another Flappy Birds-esque game consisting solely of “precision” taps and designed to make people stupid. Even Cube Runner (literally like the first iPhone game ever) was better than this in terms of gameplay, which at least had the brains to use the accelerometer for its controls. Now, I was gonna rate this two (or maybe even one) stars, but this game does have a few little things that I absolutely love. Good graphics and normal-looking Sonic & co. aside (btw I LOATHE the weird Sonic Boom characters they’ve been pushin lately), I love that they brought back some of the Chao from Sonic Adventure 2 (which is pretty much my favorite game ever, and I still don’t understand why Sega can’t just port it over to iPhone. Graphics that old are chump-change compared to what phones can do now). Likewise, worth at least a whole star on its own is the mission complete sound effect. I practically screamed with joy upon hearing that legendary sound of satisfaction from the Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Just because of that, I’m going with 3 Stars despite how pathetic the rest of the game is.
