The user interface completely changed in a much better way — it has a beautiful, minimalistic and rounded style, which many people find to be a great overall decision. Separate application for messenger is what every human being I have ever met said to be the most inconvenient thing to experience when it comes to user experience. I adore Valve for the brilliant visionary decisions they have made along the long path, but this one - is a straightforward example of contradiction to their principles. Once Gabe Newell said in interview about steamdeck: “you just want to hand this (steamdeck) to somebody, who plays PC games and have them go…oh this is great”. Well try to apply this idea to this case, and I guess it is no that easy to say “oh this is great”.
Great app, but Ukrainian localization breaks the layout
borjomi_eater
The app is great overall, but I constantly run into layout issues when using the Ukrainian interface. Some text does not wrap onto multiple lines properly, which causes the layout to overflow horizontally and enables side scrolling. When that happens, vertical scrolling becomes very inconvenient.I do not see this issue in the English interface, so it seems to be specific to the Ukrainian localization. If this is fixed, the app would easily deserve 5 stars. For now, I can only give it 2.
Thanks to Steam Support

Hello,Recently, I encountered a new type of scam in CS2.To briefly describe the situation: a user created a clone of my friend's account and sent me a trade offer for item exchange. I accepted the trade and lost all of my items. After that, I was added to a Steam Family group as a child account, which restricted many of my Steam functions and prevented me from canceling the trade myself.I reported this incident to Steam Support, and within 48 hours they resolved the issue. I received all of my items back, and Steam administrators removed me from the family group.I would like to thank the Steam Support team for their assistance and help in resolving this situation. Thank you very much. So, if any user finds themselves in a similar situation, remember that if you contact Steam Support, they can help you.
Steam iOS app: game cover images not loading in Library
Oleh_91
For the past few weeks, only the first ~9 games in my Library load their cover images correctly. All other games show grey placeholders instead of cover art. The games themselves are present and accessible, but images never load. What I’ve already tried:•Reinstalling the Steam app•Logging out and back in•Changing interface language (including English)•Checking different network connections (Wi-Fi and mobile data)The issue persists and does not seem to be related to my internet connection or device.Device: iPhoneOS: iOS (latest available)Steam app: latest version from App StoreThis seems to be a bug in the mobile app, as I’ve seen reports from other users with the same issue.Thank you for looking into this.
