Every child is different, but they all have one thing in common: they love to play! With Lingokids, your little one won’t only have a superb time with lots of different games, they’ll also learn English at the same time. To get the best out of the app, try these five tips.
Satisfy their curiosity
Why do we sneeze? Why do we stretch? Help your child find all the answers to their big questions with Curiosity Time videos, in which a curiosity coach explores different topics with them – in the Parents section head to Catalog > Extra Content > Healthy Habits to find them. Their coach will also teach them good everyday habits, such as how to wash their hands properly.

Share your knowledge
Browse the Community feed in the Parents section. Alongside useful tips, articles and videos, you’ll be able to connect with other mums and dads from all over the world and exchange experiences and advice.
Find extra content
Under the Parents section, go to the Catalog tab and tap Extra Content. This is where you’ll find lots of fun extras organised by themes. We recommend the LingoListen section, which features read-aloud stories that are perfect for enhancing your child’s listening comprehension and helping them (and you) unwind.

Set lesson reminders
Sometimes it’s difficult to find the perfect moment to practise and learn. Tap on “Practice reminders” in your profile tab and select the days and the best time for your child to start a lesson. Lingokids will send you a reminder for those times, so your little one has a good routine for playing and learning English.
Track their progress
Curious about what subjects your kid is doing well in? The Progress Center in the Parents section is where you can track their achievements – based on the activities they’ve completed, you may discover they’re an Earth lover or an aspiring chef. It’s also a good way of gauging whether they need more focus on things such as numbers. With a subscription to the app, you’ll receive more detailed reports for a full overview of their progress.
