OUR FAVOURITES

How are you, Tsuki?

We chat to the charismatic bunny.

We’ve all been there – disillusioned with fast-paced city life and its trappings. But has any bunny actually done something about it?

Meet Tsuki, the brave bunny who’s decided to ditch the corporate rabbit race in favour of growing carrots on his farm in the charming Mushroom Village. It’s no easy move for anyone, so we decided to check in with him to find out how he’s adjusted to rural living.

How are you doing, Tsuki?
Since my move to Mushroom Village, I’ve been able to take things slowly and appreciate the finer things in life, like spending more time with friends. Regarding what I miss about city life though... I mean if I’m really honest here, taxis. You could get them anywhere and anytime without needing to wait for long, compared to the trains or buses here. That said, I might miss cabs but my wallet definitely doesn’t.

What are some of the new hobbies you’ve picked up since moving to the countryside?
I’ve tried a lot of things, actually. Fishing, camping, mountain-climbing and even jet-skiing. You name it, I’ve probably done it. But my favourite hobby has to be recording my adventures in my diary. It’s really fulfilling to look back and reminisce about the memories I’ve made since moving to Mushroom Village.

What would you recommend to a first-time visitor to Mushroom Village?
You should absolutely try out Bobo’s ramen store. He can make ramen out of anything! But will it taste good? That’s for you to find out. May Lady Luck watch over you. On another note, you should definitely visit our pier for a spot of fishing. It’s especially beautiful around evening time when the sun is just about to set and you can see it paint the horizon in a golden hue.

But my all-time favourite place is my beloved treehouse. There’s just no other place where I can truly call home – it’s filled with memories of my friends and neighbours here who have treated me with so much kindness and generosity. They’re like family to me. Come visit me in my treehouse!

Speaking of treehouse, it looks a little different...
My home was actually robbed while I was on one of my holidays to the city. But you know, getting to rebuild and redecorate my home has been really fun, and I never noticed how much I could actually do with all this empty space. It’s been a journey just exploring how I can express myself.

Who should visit Mushroom Village?
Definitely people who are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. If you’re feeling stressed or tired from all the expectations that are placed on you, why not come over to Mushroom Village? I’ll serve you a hot cup of tea and we can do anything you want after that. I’ll be waiting for you here, so see you soon!
