3D Modeling, for Everyone! VRoid Studio is an application to create 3D models of humanoid avatars (characters).Create original characters on this intuitive and highly adaptable application. Easy to use for everyone!
■Easy for Beginners too
You can start creating right after download; with many ready-to-use preset items, you won’t need to create anything from scratch. You just need to pick items you like and adjust their parameters!
■Customize Your Model’s Body However You Like
Face features, body shape, outfits — everything is customizable in infinite ways. Even first-time users can fully enjoy the application by picking preset items and playing around with the parameters’ sliders.
■Express Yourself
this application also gives you total freedom to express your originality, customizing minor features down to the finest detail.
■Design Textures with the Pen Tool
The texture editor supports stylus pens such as Apple pencils and is pressure-sensitive. You can also divide your design into more layers! Draw directly on the 3D model, or on the UV texture to see your creation display in real-time on the 3D preview.
■As easy as drawing on paper
Create new chunks of hair with a single stroke, and later edit them to your liking through the parameters. Hair is customizable in infinite ways, and you can set hair bounce individually for each hair chunk.
■Your models are yours to use freely
You can set your own terms of use for the data of every model, texture, item, etc you create on VRoid Studio, specifying if you give permission for commercial use, credits, etc.
■Create, Connect, Expand
You can upload models you created to VRoid Hub, letting the community view them and send their appreciation. Characters uploaded to VRoid Hub can also be called up in various integrated games and platforms!
- When using the data for models created by pixiv or third parties, please be sure to follow the terms of use and licensing conditions.

[v2.14.0] Added ads on iPad and stronger pixiv integration (Jun 24, 2026)

We're pleased to announce the following updates in VRoid Studio v2.14.0.
These changes are intended to support the continued operation and long-term sustainability of VRoid Studio.
■ New features
・Ads are now displayed within the app.
・A new subscription service, VRoid Plus, is now available.
・1-month, 3-month, and 6-month plans can be purchased through in-app purchases.
・Subscribing to a plan removes ads from the app.
・You can choose a plan and purchase a subscription from "Hide ads" in the menu.
・By signing in with a pixiv Premium account, you can access the same benefits as VRoid Plus.
・Video ads are now available.
・Watching a video ad will temporarily hide ads for 120 minutes.
・You can now sign in to your pixiv account from the menu.
・A Premium icon will be displayed within the app based on the status of the signed-in account.
