Experience 1.65 provides enhancements to improve performance, styling, content, and accessibility. Extension page header color matches the specified primary color Extension pages use a narrow header to maximize the area available for page content. The header color is based on the primary color that you specify on the Theming tab in Experience Configuration. In previous releases, a gradient was applied to that color to ensure that the white utility icons (such as the notifications icon) were visible. However, this caused the header color to not match the specified primary theming color. With this release, the header color on extension pages now matches the specified primary theming color, with no gradient applied. To ensure that the utility icons are visible for any header color, the header will automatically use white icons if the header color is dark, and dark icons if the header color is light, as shown in the graphic below. This change addresses IDEA-71155 in the Ellucian Customer Center. Extension page header color Image card supports WEBP format When you create a card from the Image card template, you can now insert an image in the WEBP format, in addition to the existing support for the JPEG, PNG, and GIF formats. RSS card styling updates You can use the RSS Feed template to create a card that displays a news feed. The styling of that card has been updated to be more readable. RSS card styling updates Social media links for X (Twitter) and TikTok You can define social media links specific to your institution as described in Add social media links to the Experience menu. With this release: The icon for the X platform (formerly Twitter) has been updated. TikTok has been added to the list of available social media links. The addition of the TikTok link addresses IDEA-71015 in the Ellucian Customer Center.
