Performance improvements in firmware update

Improved Bluetooth setup guidance. Cosmo now alerts you if Bluetooth access for the app is turned off in your iPad settings and takes you straight to Settings so your devices can reconnect more easily.

Version 2.10.7 brings a more reliable firmware update experience with better recovery and troubleshooting guidance, plus fixes for audio, loading, and general stability issues. We’ve also polished dark mode, activity settings, accessibility, and feedback in several activities.

Additionally, we've improved localization support and made various UI refinements for a better overall experience.

***App Start Fix: Resolved an issue where the app occasionally stalled during loading; it now launches more reliably. ***Touch Sensitivity Fix: Fixed a problem where Cosmo buttons didn’t always register touch input, even when sensitivity was set to 100%. ***Improved Brightness Control: You can now adjust the brightness of your Cosmo buttons. To do so, update each button’s firmware individually to version 4.6.00, making sure all other buttons are switched off during the update.

FIRMWARE UPDATE FUNCTIONALITY ENHANCED Users can now successfully update firmware through Advanced Settings. This ensures devices stay up to date with the latest features and improvements. CONSISTENT BUTTON BRIGHTNESS ACROSS ACTIVITIES Brightness levels are now unified across all Cosmo activities. You can adjust brightness consistently via Settings > Advanced Settings. (Minimum supported firmware: 4.6.00) IMPROVED TURN-TAKING ACTIVITY BEHAVIOUR Turn-Taking activity now responds more predictably. Button lights and music align accurately with the selected track’s MIN and MAX durations. FASTER RESPONSE IN IMPROVISATION Improvisation now supports faster tapping for smoother musical expression and improved user interaction. AUTOMATIC SAVING OF IMPROVISATION RECORDINGS Recordings in Improvisation are now saved automatically—even if the user forgets to tap Stop before exiting the activity. RELIABLE SOUND DETECTION IN SAMPLER Sampler now consistently detects sound input, even when microphone sensitivity is set to High, improving recording reliability. BETTER FEEDBACK IN COLOUR MATCHING When an incorrect answer is selected in Colour Matching, both button lights and screen icons now reflect feedback clearly and consistently.
