The Jamf School Student icon has been redesigned using Liquid Glass to provide a more modern look and feel. This update is available only for devices with iPadOS 26 or later or macOS 26 or later. When no resources are added in My resources, the sidebar no longer overlaps with displayed text. After switching between Light and Dark Mode, if a student navigates to App updates, a black square no longer briefly displays next to more under a listed app. Support for iPadOS 16.x will be removed from Jamf School Student in a future release. Jamf recommends upgrading to iPadOS 17.x or later to ensure continued support.

Teachers can now add up to 300 website URLs to Allowed websites. The CSV file limit has also been increased to 200 website URLs. Device Pairing Enhancements for Jamf School The workflow for pairing parent and child devices has been improved to provide a more secure experience. The following enhancements have been added: On a parent device, users can now view a list of all supervising devices for child's device tapping the child's name. Note: If the list displays devices the parent does not recognize or want supervising the child's device, you can unpair them in Jamf School. Navigate to Users > Users in the sidebar and click the child's name, then click Edit details. Next to Parents in the Jamf Parent section, click X next to the name of the device you want to unpair from the child's device, then click Save. On a child device, users can now view a list of all supervising devices by navigating to Settings and tapping Authorize parent. A notification now displays on both the parent and child devices when the devices are paired. The device pairing QR code is now valid for 15 minutes before it expires and a new code must be used. On a parent device, users can now unpair a child device by navigating to Settings and tapping the device they want to unpair in the Paired devices section. Users can then tap Remove paired device and the two devices will be unpaired.

In Jamf Pro, teachers can now correctly access Lesson templates and upload website URLs via CSV file

Removal of Support for iPhone versions of Jamf Teacher and Jamf School Student Jamf Teacher for iPhone and Jamf School Student for iPhone are no longer supported. Teachers can continue to manage student devices with Jamf Teacher for iPad and Jamf Teacher for Mac. Future mobile releases will be labeled as "iPadOS" in the release notes heading.
