And indeed so. I mean, app certainly helps by keeping up habits, cause one has to enter meals regulary. Also it is an evidence of what one consumes and aproximation of how many calories one consumes. Basically MyFitnessPal is a good guide in that regard and a reminder for controlling one’s consumption. Kudos!

New color palette is one of the worst updates I’ve ever seen, because it harms functionality of the app greatly. To keep it short - new blue “available calories” are too pastel and blue and don’t pop out, I have to search for them and the “over calories” are light grey and are almost impossible to see them when you’re scrolling through and looking for a cheat day or some trend or anything really. Even if I just open the app its easily just overlooked and it shouldn’t be as its one of the main points of this app.And nutrients tab is now almost unusable as fiber, sugar and saturated fats are almost indistinguishable from fat.And with this update none of the long transition animations have been shortened that eat away time when you just want to quickly add in food items.Final nail in the coffin to switch apps.
Thank you for providing this feedback. We will definitely share this with our team and we appreciate your help as we continue to improve our program!
I don't like it to have to enter meal of the day for every food, as it doesnt matter to me. There are also two different foods for one barcode (im guessing american and european). For some foods there is only american units (cups etc.), and some units are completely useless, lets say one apple (the range is very wide). And given that Im giving them free information of what i eat everyday (this has a lot of value), whole app could be for free and not have payable features. I do like that there are most foods which I can scan, and that I can see daily macros.
We are sorry to hear you are not enjoying the current experience, but we have passed along this feedback to the appropriate team. If we can help with anything else or want to provide additional suggestions/context, please email us at support@myfitnesspal.com.
This is a great app if you want to lose weight. Nothing comes close.I hate the adds distractions. Would prefer a paid version - like a you pay once and then can use it without being hustled with a subscription version. The most stupid thing in this app are random logouts - I want to enter my meal and I discover somehow I am logged out - although I haven’t done that.I guess Under Armor wants us to have weak passwords so hackers will have an easy way to hack into our accounts. Extremely annoying!!!
I been using this app for about 7 years now and I really love it. But there is something that I’d really strongly suggest. I think it would be really good if the app was tracking sugars (fruit, veggies, milk) separately from unhealthy/added sugars. This is a very big problem with this app and I think it’s important to a lot of people specially the ones trying to lose weight.
Thank you for taking a minute to share your great suggestion with us! We will definitely consider adding it for a future update.
I have been using this app for years now, but for the last few months there are awful updates. The multi-add option is not available anymore and everytime you log in food, there is a notification “food logged” over the screen and you have to wait to click again. Please fix this. It was a 5 star app before for me.
