RAMADAN

Join Minecraft’s Ramadan season

Fast, prepare and embrace your community.

Embrace Ramadan in Minecraft. During the day, eating and drinking are disabled, shifting your focus to preparation and community. Your hunger won’t drain, but the Yum Meter keeps things playful as food mobs like the Sambusa Sprinters, Kunafa Ooze and Baklava Bats appear to tease and distract you. Keep them at bay with special shields. When sunset arrives, the pace changes. You’ll break the fast, enjoy the food you’ve prepared and step into a calmer, more social night filled with cooking, decorating, trading and planning. Before dawn, suhoor gives you one last chance to prepare for the next day.

What we love: Ramadan replaces traditional combat with three themed mini-games you can play solo or with friends. Cooking Frenzy challenges you to cook and serve as many dishes as possible. Moon Sighting sends you to the rooftop to spot the moon before time runs out. Charity Rush turns giving into a friendly race. Each mini-game rewards Community Points, which you can use to unlock outfits, decorations and shields, and complete shared spaces such as the mosque and iftar courtyard.

Don’t miss: Food is at the heart of the experience. You can cook and collect 10 traditional dishes, including kabsa, sambosa and pakora. Every dish is made from real ingredients you gather, carry, place and cook.

More to explore: As the final days approach, the focus shifts to preparation. You help repair structures, prepare gift bags and build community spaces. When the moon is finally in sight, Eid begins with fireworks, food stalls and a shared celebration to close the season.
