So I have been using snapchat for years now and I love it. When I first downloaded the app I didn’t know much about it except I was told that it’s an app for chatting with friends. But what’s disturbing me is that I want to change my profile color but I can’t, and the only way to change it is to delete the account and make a new one. I don’t want to delete it because I have a lot of saved contacts of friends and family on the app, and deleting it mean all the contacts will be gone too. So is there a possible way to be able to change the profile color? ( Sorry for my bad English. English isn’t my first language.)

It used to be fun, good and actually enjoyable with its minor lacks such as the “ can’t delete a snap or a chat” or “ can’t call my friend in chat unless they’re in the chat “ . We’re thankful they payed attention to our needs and fixed these minor problems but now it started to annoy people like the way they changed the lower buttons with black color. and the Snapchat + that has all the basic stuff any other platform has but with some more bucks to pay to access it. And now the only reason why people are still using this platform is the “Streak” feature, but now we have to pay money to restore them while months ago we used to restore it for free. In this case I think soon we will have to pay money to make “ Streaks “ and might after years later need to pay just to get the app from the AppStore or Google Play. These changes are making a lot of users delete the app or their accounts, I understand that these are the new Snapchat guidelines that were added to make sure this platform is comfortable to the user to use (which we are slowly missing) but now I think a lot of users who use the app just for fun or these type of features would delete it. People like me will only keep it to communicate with others who don’t have another accounts on another platforms. I don’t think years later with these unfixed problems I’ll keep the app like a lot of people will. I hope you take time to read my review. Thank you

I’ve been using Snapchat for over 9 years. This was my main platform mainly because I could create memories, save them and send them to my friends. Now I have to start paying for storage which was free all these years. If I don’t pay I’ll lose all my 9 years memories, my life journey, my birth history, my kids childhood, my sisters marriage history, my friends departure, my brothers achievements and so so much more. Over the years I had many problems and lagging but I never complained. It took forever for me to view my own stories/memories and to save them but I didn’t have much problem because I knew I have them and I can view them time to time if i waited sometime for them to load. Now I have to pay? I would understand if I had to pay for future memories not the ones I have already saved or maybe if I had to pay once a year. But I have to buy 5TB each month??? That’s just absurd. I can’t be sitting here and saving one by one snaps that I have taken in Snapchat over the 9 years. I have to save over 128,146 memories??? Is that possible???? If I’m losing my memories I don’t see a point of using Snapchat anymore and I’m not even upset of not being able to use Snapchat because I can communicate with my friends through various applications, make videos through TikTok or instagram and much more on other apps for FREE! I guess my journey ends here or maybe Snapchat stops being greedy and fixes it before it’s too late.
