As soon as the dongle is connected to your smart meter, you may consult your energy data in near-realtime in the Smartbirds app. You decide if you want to expose them to a service provider that is worth sharing them with, in revenge for a service commitment.
Check out the service providers to be found in the “connect” tab of the application to benefit from the services offered.Smartbirds will allow you to keep an eye on your energy consumption and determine your significant consumers, as well as supervise the production of your photovoltaic installation. You can check your consumption over the past months and improve your daily behaviour to reduce it to a minimum and save money. By adapting your consumption to the production times of renewable energies or by sharing your data with your DSO or research institutes, you can actively contribute to a successful energy transition. Voluntary data sharing with your grid operator will help them estimate the actual load on the distribution network more accurately and use the existing network capacities more efficiently, which will reduce the network usage costs for end customers.
In the future, more and more services will be available for you, new opportunities based on the processing of your energy data. And of course, the data is yours, and you are always in control with whom you share these data securely for a value proposition that is worth it to you. You can withdraw your consent to share data at any time.
