At the centre of the game lies the strange manifestation known as Chaos, as well as the SS Nightmare, a massive expeditionary battleship with you at the helm. As her captain, you lead a team of highly capable Combatants tasked with restoring order to Earth, humanity’s birthplace, devastated by the manifestation of Chaos.

It all seems straightforward enough, but here’s the catch: you’ve lost your memory. The full story unfolds across richly animated, fully voice-acted cutscenes as you investigate the truth behind it all, one clue at a time.

Each revelation and twist draws you deeper into the mystery behind the cosmic disaster, creating a truly immersive gameplay experience. Dig deep to discover what happened – and perhaps more importantly, why it all went down.

Chaos is an inexplicable force, manifesting as grotesque, malformed monsters all around you. And the fight against it is no minor feat.

Combat here revolves around strategic deck-building, taking into account multiple tactical variables. The Combatant cards you play each turn are drawn at random, and you might come across setbacks such as Breakdown, which incapacitates an agent for a set number of turns.

Managing this requires monitoring your Combatants’ stress levels, and tempering them at opportune moments with cards that have healing or shielding effects.
