ParkinSoft its an app created for patients diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. ParkinSoft enables users and patient's relatives, doctors, scientists, etc, to monitor and keep record of patient's tremor and dyskinetia levels, amongst other events such as medicine consumption, comments, dates of medical consultations, or, medical analysis/studies.
ParkinSoft includes: an apple watch app, and a web app. Recorded data can be viewed in any browser from any device connected to the internet to analyze and apply filters if needed, Data can be exported to xls file. Changes in medication, crisis/calm moments, or adjustments to deep brain stimulator are viewable in the graphics.
The apple watch application measures tremor and dyskinetia levels using Movement Disorder Manager from Apple inc.
In the web app you can view graphical charts of recorded data, and configure its parameters. You can also set events such as the moments to take medication to send notifications on the watch, and to display in front screen next visit to the doctor, also on the watch.
Receive email alerts in less that an hour after the high tremor level occurred.
No actions needed from patient, just open the app, and that is it, the app will do all the work automatically.
