To use, the app requires a username and password supplied by your IT administrator or AMN Language Services.

- Apple guidelines now require new UI permissions and regular notification checks. Users receive permission prompts as per standards, with notification permission checked every 24 hours.
- Users could log out even when “keep me signed in” was enabled, causing confusion and inconsistent session handling. Logout option is only available when appropriate, matching user expectations. Added explicit refresh method to ensure session state is consistent across UI components.
- Epic Launch - Previously, users were confused by a lack of network connectivity feedback on the Epic Request screen, resulting in failed interpreter requests. Now, users see a “Waiting for Network” overlay with a refresh button, disabling UI controls until connectivity returns and improving the experience during outages.

- Mobile users occasionally saw confusing states (e.g., calls starting with no network, duplicate‑device logout notices, or new session attempts not starting). To reduce failed starts and support tickets, iOS cleanly ends the current Epic call before starting a new one.
- After logout, the password box sometimes stayed filled. To protect privacy and prevent mistaken sign‑ins, the field now clears automatically on successful login and sign‑out.

- Providers can now securely launch AMN Interpreting directly from the patient’s health record within Epic. Interpretation sessions initiated in this manner will automatically authenticate users, access key patient details from their chart (such as preferred language), and display the end-of-session information. Potentially the same information displayed will be recorded on the patient’s chart.
- Additionally, the included Bi-Directional Data Exchange ensures accurate billing and reporting. Launching the patient chart will also trigger the bidirectional exchange of data fields between AMN and Epic, such as patient details, session specifics, and interpreter details, which assists with accurate and prompt reporting and billing procedures.
- This enhancement streamlines the process for providers, making it easier and more efficient to access interpreter services on the go. Whether using Canto, Rover, or Haiku, providers can now initiate interpreter sessions seamlessly, enhancing the overall patient experience and ensuring that communication needs are met promptly.

- Changed the button caption on the call refresh waiting alert from “Cancel” to “Close” to more accurately reflect the effect of clicking the button.
• Issues Addressed
- When refreshing in an existing session, an alert would appear letting the user know they were waiting. The only option was “Close”, which was intended to close the alert, not impact the session. That was functioning incorrectly and has been fixed to simply close the alert without impacting the session.

Enhancements
· Added the ability for users to select the account to be used for the sessions they request. This enables SSO to be used with more complicated account hierarchies. It can also be used to support account switching between sessions without requiring separate credentials for each account.
Issues Addressed
· Corrected an issue causing the “Waiting for interpreter” popup to remain on screen with no video shown after an interpreter refreshed the session. Now, the popup closes and video reappears once the refresh is complete.
