Kim Do-hyung knew that he wanted to be a game developer since the 4th grade. With Buff Studio, he’s made his dream come true by creating games that spotlight moments in everyday life and forge emotional connections through storytelling.
What they’re known for
Puzzler 7Days tells the story of a protagonist going through seven days’ worth of trials to be resurrected. A Story of a Company touches on all-too-real societal phenomenons. Blue Wednesday follows a failed jazz musician who dares to dream and love again.
Behind the scenes
‣ All the sounds in Blue Wednesday are created solely by the game designer. They learned about jazz composition from scratch, studied the history of the genre and went to live jazz performances. To write for the adolescent rapper character, they even took a rap lyric course.
‣ In Skel and Defense, Skel is different from all the other skeletons. As an alter ego created from the bones of the Demon King, it will keep coming back to life again and again as long as the altar of the Demon King survives.
