Under the hood updates

uSkint Update Version 1.4.1 Under the hood improvement to satisfy the latest code commands. As previously promised I will try and update the look of the interface when I have the time. if you have any suggestions for this app then please email me.

Hi, Thank you for using uSkint Version 1.3.5 contains minor updates to allow it to be used on IOS 13 Dark mode is currently not used but this will hopefully come in the future. For now if forces uSkint to use Light mode only. There are some minor fixes like showing the bill information from the top and not from some random point on the screen. Also added is a Privacy Statement to show how your data is used. Please read it. For now that all that has been done but in the future there are some other enhancements coming.

Improved the security when sending the app to the background. It now blurs the screen as you move it to the background. --- Added a widget to the main glance screen so you can quickly see what you have to spend without fully opening the app. This is also displayed if you press hard on the uSkint icon. A popup will display the widget information. If authenticity is turned off in the app settings menu then a quick access list will also be displayed. --- If you have the latest apple watch then some complications have been added to the main infograph screen. This includes a corner complication that graphically shows the days left and displays the number of bills left. A circle complication that also shows graphically the days left and indicates the number of bills left. A Bezel complication that graphically shows number of days left and indicates the number of days left. The bezel shows the number of bills and the total amount still to pay. You can launch the watch app by clicking on one of the complications.

This version is just an update to make it compatible with the new phones and IOS 12. It will still work on devices running IOS 11. Any recommendations would be most welcome. Please enjoy using uSkint.

Before you install this version I would recommend saving the data to the iCloud and then delete the old app. You can then restore your data from the iCloud one the app is installed. ------ This version has been created to give you the option of security. Because uSkint shows your bills and your money we thought you should have the option to use a passcode, TouchID or FaceID to stop others from seeing what you have and what you are paying for. The first time you launch the app you will be asked to enter a 6 digit code. After this if your phone supports TouchID or FaceID then this option will be offered. There is a new settings page that lets you turn off security if you want. When security is ON the quick Access options from the Launch Icon will be removed. When security is OFF you can jump straight to the Main Screen, New Bill Entry or View Bill List from the launch icon. When you close the app and leave it in the background, the screen is blanked when viewing the background images. All this security additions caused a few hours of head scratching trying to work out the various options so I hope you like them. ------ The settings page also allows you to select a time range for the notifications to inform you that unpaid bills are due. For example:- If you set a time range from for 9:30 to 10:00 and you have a bill due on the 23rd of the month. If on the 23rd you have not marked the bill as payed then you will be notified 23 minutes after 9:30, eg at 9:53 ------ You can also fully delete all the information from the settings menu. All Bills and Money information will be deleted. Your iCloud data will NOT be deleted. ------- I hope you enjoy this update and are using the App every day. Remember none of your information is seen by anybody but you. The data stored on the cloud is only visible from your account. uSkint does not bother you with adverts. Please press the launch icon hard and select the share button to inform your friends how useful you are finding this app. Enjoy it I'm looking at giving you the option to export your data as a PDF in the next version along with the current .TXT and .CSV versions. I have added another feature to the software. You can now edit Bills by swiping from Left to Right on a Bill. This will take you to an editor window where you can change the Day the Bill is payed, the payment amounts and the Bill Description. I have also altered the Peek selection. Now when you press on a Bill, only the Bill will highlight and not the full list as in version 1.0.4 (only available if your phone supports 3D Touch) The help pages have been updated to include the new features introduced. I hope you like the update.

This update adds a new feature for phones that support Peek and Pop While on the main screen if you press firmly on one of your bills a window will show up displaying just that bills information. This list will also show you the current month we are in and you can check quickly what you will be required to pay out in future months. ---- I have also made the list of all bills more pleasing to the eye by adding line spaces where required The info is using the Peek feature. If you Pop you will return to the home screen.
