Kitflight is the app for experimental aircraft builders to document and track their building progress. Designed with builders in mind, Kitflight offers all the tools you need to keep a detailed log of your work and ensure every aspect of your build is organised and easily accessible.
Whether you’re recording time spent on tasks, categorizing your work, or adding notes to photo attachments, Kitflight helps you stay on top of every detail. With powerful search functionality, you can quickly retrieve past entries by title, description, or custom queries. Plus, with seamless iCloud sync, your logs are always up to date across all your mobile devices—whether you’re in the workshop or out and about.
Kitflight is built mobile-first, offering an advantage over desktop-only tools, so you can easily log your progress and document your work from anywhere. Inspired by a passion for aviation, this app was developed in memory of our dear friend and pilot, Oleksandr Kukurba.

This update improves how photos work in your build logs. You can now rearrange photos within a log entry, and the order is preserved everywhere, including exports. The annotation system was redesigned to be faster and more flexible. To add an annotation, long press on a spot on the photo while editing a log entry. The log feed now shows larger photos with annotations rendered directly in the feed. Jekyll export was also improved with persistent photo filenames and better support for captions and annotations. This update was largely driven by feedback from Florian B., a Van’s RV-7A builder.
