The update to version 2.16 introduces the new object category „Integrated circuits / ICs“. The new category includes pre-made ICs as well as objects for assembling your own ICs.

The update to version 2.14 further increases the productivity of the application. 1. Exporting scpData and pdf files using the new "Save to Files" button is now possible in the second level of the export dialog. 2. From now on, multiple search terms, each separated by a space, can be used in the object catalog's search field to select specific objects. The new search algorithm is a welcome improvement, given the more than 1000 objects stored.

Circuit Planner regularly receives free updates. This time, there are two pieces of good news for all users: 1. For even greater convenience, the app now features a built-in search field in the object catalog. This allows you to quickly find the desired symbol and select it directly from the new "Search result" category. 2. With the newly added objects in the categories "Functional links, Fuses, Lines/Shapes/Arrows, Pictograms, Protective devices, Relays/Contactors, Switches/Contacts," an incredible 1001 objects are now available. This nearly doubles the number of circuit symbols, geometries, tools, and text fields since the app's release a year ago, following a total of 20 extensive updates.

The update to version 2.11 brings two useful new features: 1. The use of automatically updated cross-references is now possible. The necessary tools for this are stored in the new object category "Cross-references".  If you would like to know more about this, you will find all the information in the manual on page 17 and in the new demo project "Demo Cross references". 2. The new display tool, located in the "Drawing sheet tools" category, provides excellent orientation on the drawing sheet.  Once placed on the drawing sheet, the tool indicates its current position in the schematic by specifying the page, row, and column.  This feature is especially useful when creating cross-references.

The update to version 2.10 makes extensive enhancements and optimizations to several background processes. These measures optimally prepare the application for future requirements. The operation remains unchanged. Therefore, no additional training is required in connection with this update. The manual has also been updated. The last page now includes helpful tips for efficient and time-saving use of the application.

With the update to version 2.9, another extremely useful function is available to users. From now on, individual combinations of circuit diagram symbols, geometries and text fields on the drawing sheet can be grouped into a common object. Grouped objects form an interconnected unit and behave exactly like a single, ungrouped object. This new function is a valuable addition for anyone who wants to get even more out of the 931 objects stored. Grouped objects are saved in the project file as a common unit, which ensures that they can be transferred to other devices. Further information about the new function can be found in the manual on page 13.

The update to version 2.8 brings two useful app extensions. 1. The selection catalog for circuit diagram symbols, geometries and text fields has been expanded to include the object category "Last used category" in second position.  All objects of the last used category are stored there.  This is a useful extension for even faster circuit diagram results. 2. From now on, you can specify for each individual object on the drawing sheet whether it should be displayed in the pdf file.  A hidden object remains visible on the drawing sheet, but is displayed in a different color.  With this practical feature, parts of the circuit diagram can be hidden in the pdf file without much effort and displayed and edited on the drawing sheet at the same time.  For this purpose, two new buttons are located in the right toolbar.

The update to version 2.6 introduces three new features: 1. The "Conductor/Cable mode" receives an intelligent extension for even faster final results. The new automatic connection system, which works in the background, ensures the correct electrical connection to immediately adjacent circuit diagram symbols at the starting point and end point of new conductors. The automatic connection system is well informed about all 877 objects and therefore recognizes every electrical connection option regardless of the position and rotation of the objects. Corner, single, triple and fourfold connections are supported. Conductors that do not appear plausible are not automatically connected to neighboring circuit symbols. In addition, it is still possible to change each electrical connection manually. 2. Labels within terminal strips and connection designations of motors are now displayed in the color selected for text fields. 3. The connecting cables within the circuit diagram symbols for motors and generators are now displayed in the color that was selected for cables and conductors.

The update to version 2.5 brings two new, great features. 1. Four typical colors are now available for the objects and texts of the circuit diagrams. This allows electrical components, cables, terminal strips and text to be assigned different colors. A completely black print output is also possible. 2. Information on the total of 877 objects can be displayed in the new info window. This is how it works: mark the desired object in the circuit diagram, press the newly added info button, that's it. The manual provides all the necessary details about the two new features in a clear manner.

Once saved, object groups are available across projects for every circuit diagram. This is a huge advantage for anyone who likes to work with individual, prefabricated assemblies. From page 12 onwards, the operating instructions provide all the necessary information in a well-known, clear manner.
