Microsoft To Do, created by the team behind the beloved app Wunderlist, feels like a breath of fresh air among to-do apps.

Everything about the app is distinctly bare-bones. But that’s the point! Microsoft To Do stays distraction-free so you can track tasks with ease. There’s even a satisfying sound when you check off an item. (You could switch this off, but... why?)

Although Microsoft To Do does simple really well (to create a list, just tap the plus sign), the app can also meet you at your most obsessive. Tap a task to add subtasks, reminders, due dates, files and additional notes.

This is also where you can make a task recurring. The default My Day view bubbles up only what needs your attention right now.
