Artificial Superintelligence is a game about the Silicon Valley hustle, or so you think.

You are Meatbag, a programmer and entrepreneur who is just getting started in the Valley. Your hands are full trying to keep your genius employees in line while rubbing shoulders with all the right tech giants. But what for, you ask? It’s all because you want to bring Project C.A.R.R.O.T., a sentient super AI, to life. And for that, you would do anything.

Artificial Superintelligence is a game of choice. Do you buy your programmers’ loyalty with ergonomic chairs? You may win their favour, but you cannot say the same for your financial backers. All choices come with consequences that will factor into your ultimate ending.

But it’s never that simple, is it? The game begins at the end of civilisation. The world is in shambles. And there, in a derelict office, you find C.A.R.R.O.T., the AI you created. Turns out, a bug in your code caused it to go berserk and wipe out the Earth’s population.

The super AI then tries to comfort you by explaining that other versions of you in parallel universes had done a lot worse.

You play another version of Meatbag in a parallel universe—back when he first arrived in Silicon Valley. Will you pursue your dreams and bring ruination to all, or give up your chance at fame and save the world? The choice is yours.
