The free to download Scantrust app verifies any product with a secured QR code to give you confidence in knowing that you’ve purchased a genuine product and not a counterfeit.
Scantrust secured QR codes distinguish genuine products from counterfeits by using patent-pending technology developed by authentication technology scientists. Scan products bearing the Scantrust secure QR code before you buy them to be certain you are paying for the genuine article.
How the app works:
- Use this free Scantrust app to scan secured QR codes with your phone camera and verify if a code is authentic or a copy and potential counterfeit.
- Follow on screen instructions to perform an authentication on a secured QR code.
Many secured QR codes will give you additional product information including geographical origin, details about the production process, expiration date, shipping date and time, and more, in addition to an authentication result.

- Scan through to get frequently updated content and receive discounts or promotional information.
- Notify the producer of your product if you have concerns about safety or about knock off products by just scanning the code and getting in touch with them through forms or chat.
