What’s on the app?
Once you download the app, you are required to self-register, verify documents and complete the 15-hour training as mandated by IRDAI. The app is configured with all the prerequisite course material to become a certified point of sale person (PoSP). Once you’re done with the training, take the exam and execute the agreement. Voila! You’re ready to sell insurance.
Selling through the app is pretty straightforward. You can generate instant quotes for motor products available in the app. Once the customer pays premium, the policy is issued instantly. You don’t need to visit the branch or worry about mountains of paperwork to issue the policy.
