The ALDS (Ambulatory Lung Diagnostic System) combines oscillometry, FeNO, and spirometry to enable fast and comprehensive respiratory assessment. Its cloud-based algorithms evaluate measurement data alongside patient history to support the physiological interpretation of obstructive, restrictive, and inflammatory patterns. Designed for use in primary and outpatient care, the system enables efficient, non-invasive assessments within minutes and supports clinicians in the evaluation and management of respiratory conditions.

This major ALDS update brings a powerful combination of cutting-edge cybersecurity, enhanced interoperability, and improved clinical workflow integration.
With this release, ALDS now incorporates a state-of-the-art cybersecurity architecture developed not only in alignment with IEC 81001-5-1, but pushing beyond its baseline expectations. The new security foundation is built to proactively identify risks, minimise attack surfaces and ensure the highest level of protection for health data throughout all diagnostic processes. These advancements significantly reinforce system robustness, operational reliability and long-term software resilience in demanding clinical environments.
In addition, this version introduces an optional Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) system. Healthcare organisations can activate MFA to add a configurable second layer of authentication, strengthening access control while keeping the user experience streamlined. MFA can be enabled either at an organisational level or per device, giving hospitals and clinics maximum flexibility to tailor security to their IT policies.
To optimise integration across healthcare infrastructures, ALDS now supports full HL7 Hospital Information System (HIS) connectivity. This enables seamless and standardised data exchange with existing clinical systems, including automated import of patient demographics, retrieval of test orders, and transmission of diagnostic results. With HL7 interoperability, ALDS helps eliminate manual transcription steps, reduce typographical errors, and accelerate the diagnostic workflow from admission to reporting.
This update also includes refinements to stability, performance and responsiveness during high-volume use, ensuring consistently smooth operation across all measurement scenarios.
With this release, ALDS continues to move ahead of the industry standard—combining cutting-edge cybersecurity, flexible authentication options and robust HL7-based interoperability to deliver fast, safe and integrated respiratory diagnostics for modern clinical environments.
