Welcome to the new Bookito Community!
We’ve completely transformed how you discover books and connect with other readers. Here’s everything you need to know about our biggest update yet:
Share & Connect
• The Community Hub: The Explore tab has been completely redesigned into a new Community space. Discover trending books, top quotes, and see what everyone is reading.
• Book Feeds: Share your thoughts, post reviews, or highlight your favourite quotes directly on any book's page.
• Engage: Like and comment on posts from other readers. Found a great review? Let them know!
• Public Profiles: Tap on any reader to see their profile, reading stats, favourite genres, and what they’ve shared. Prefer to keep things private? You can easily set your profile to private.
A Better Way to Explore Books
• Redesigned Book Pages: We’ve given book pages a massive visual upgrade. Easily swipe between your "Personal" details (your notes, reading status, and progress) and the new "Community" view to see what others are saying about that exact book.
• Share With Friends: Easily share a book, a great quote, or a reader's profile. Links will now open directly in the app for a seamless experience.
Smoother & Smarter Experience
• Never Lose Your Notes: Our note editor now protects your thoughts. If you try to leave without saving, we’ll ask you if you want to save or discard your changes.
• Easier Finding & Sorting: We’ve improved how you filter and sort your library on the home screen, making it easier to find exactly what you want to read next.
• Fresh Welcome: New users will experience a beautiful, redesigned onboarding flow that better showcases everything Bookito can do.
• Safe Community: We want Bookito to be a great place for everyone. You can now report any inappropriate posts, comments, or profiles directly in the app.
• Listen & Read: Keep an eye out for helpful suggestions to try audiobooks or get physical copies of the books everyone is talking about!
