Context is Key You can now categorize work as a Concern, Inspection, Maintenance, or Repair, giving you a professional-grade service history at your fingertips. The "Paper" Trail Forget greasy notebooks. You can now attach photos, videos, and even link specific spare parts from your inventory directly to a maintenance task. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a new boat owner, this feature takes the guesswork out of your vessel’s health. It increases your boat's resale value by providing a digital "service book" and, more importantly, gives you the peace of mind that your critical systems are ready for the open sea. Other Fresh Upgrades While Maintenance took center stage, we’ve made dozens of other improvements to make your "Mate" even more helpful: Smarter Lists Our "Parts" and "Groceries" lists are now more intuitive, allowing you to share your needs with crewmates or suppliers instantly. No more "I thought you bought the fuel filters!" moments. Enhanced Search We’ve streamlined how you find your gear. One quick tap on the Search icon and InvenTerry will help you scan your lockers in seconds. InvenTerry’s Helping Hand Our mascot, InvenTerry, has been "promoted!" You’ll find him at the top of every page, ready to offer specific tips and walkthroughs so you never feel lost in the app. Safer, Easier, Better This update is all about reducing the "mental load" of boat ownership. By centralizing your inventory, shopping needs, and maintenance logs into the Main Deck, we’re helping you stay organized, save money on duplicate spares, and - most importantly - stay safe. The dashboard gives you a bird's-eye view of your inventory & equipment health, grouped into charts so you can quickly spot expired items, low stock, and upcoming or overdue tasks. By popular demand, you now have a dedicated space to track all of your galley gear, food, and supplies. We know how much of a headache it can be to keep track of what you have (or don't have!) on board, especially before a long trip. This new category helps you easily manage your pantry, find that specific spice you're looking for, and make sure you're stocked up on everything you need for your next adventure. No more running to the store at the last minute! We've also added the ability to attach files to any of your equipment items. This is perfect for keeping important documents right where you need them. You can now upload and access maintenance manuals, installation guides, wiring diagrams, or anything else you might need for repairs or reference.
