(AR) Number Line

Rediscover the number line

1,99 €

Number Line is a learning app for primary school and the lower secondary level that systematically supports the development of number concepts through number line estimation tasks. It offers multiple exploratory environments for independent investigation and presentation, as well as a wide range of exercises and games with individual, adaptive adjustment options. At the core of the app is the number line in two variants: an augmented reality number line for exploring numbers “in space,” and a classic, non-AR number line for focused work on the screen. The AR number line is particularly suitable for developing number range concepts (especially in larger number ranges) and for learning through movement, while the classic number line enables a deeper engagement with numbers and numerical relationships. Using this dynamic tool, children place numbers, compare distances, find positions, discover relationships, and illustrate calculation strategies in an action-oriented way. In addition, the app includes numerous practice formats and learning games centered on numbers on the number line, which are specifically designed to address different levels of learning. Tasks adapt to the learner’s abilities and support practice in small, motivating steps—ideal for independent work, learning stations, weekly plans, targeted support, or practice at home. When errors occur or support is needed, children receive helpful feedback and hints from an AI tutor, which explains effective strategies for locating numbers and encourages further thinking. The AI tutor is optional, uses the internet, and can be deactivated at any time—ensuring flexibility for different teaching situations and needs. No personal data is transmitted when generating individualized feedback. Number Line is suitable for explanation phases, demonstration phases, inquiry-based learning tasks, individual learning, partner work, as well as targeted diagnosis and support. The number range and numerous additional display options can be freely configured—from number ranges up to 20 to negative numbers and decimal numbers. A learning report provides teachers with ongoing information about children’s competencies and difficulties. Please support the further development and improvement of the AI tutor by providing anonymized log data for scientific evaluation. This can be enabled easily in the settings. Thank you very much!
