Amazon Prime Video for Mac brings the service’s acclaimed original series and films, Hollywood premieres and library of movies and TV shows to the big screen... on your desk.

With your subscription, you can stream hard-hitting series like Reacher, the coming-of-age romantic hit The Summer I Turned Pretty, and provocative superhero stories like The Boys and Invincible. The app also lets you dive into Amazon Original films including The Wrecking Crew and Heads of State.

And don’t miss the X-Ray feature, which displays cast information, music lists and trivia for the current scene you’re viewing. (Just click X-Ray in the upper left of the screen.) It’s like watching with a friend with an exceedingly vast knowledge of pop culture.

Want to enjoy a show on the go? Download your favourite films and TV shows to your Mac for offline viewing. And don’t forget to visit the Settings screen (under My Stuff) to configure the app to automatically download new episodes as they’re released (and delete them once you’ve watched them).
