We’re preparing improvements to enhance account security across all LiveU web and mobile apps. Control+ now supports these upcoming changes. Email verification will soon be required for accounts using two-factor authentication (2FA). For now, you can continue to sign in with your username and password as usual.

Control+ now supports the new LU-900Q unit type, introducing Dual Video Return control! For compatible units, users can view and manage two independent video return feeds directly from the app — selecting channels and starting/stopping each feed with ease.

Bug fixes and application improvement.

Unit Video Return Control – The video return of field units can now be managed even when using QR code pairing. Two-Factor Authentication – As LiveU moves toward making 2FA mandatory for all users of our applications, this version of Control+ now supports the 2FA flow as well. Additional Unit Details – Comments Field – The Comments field is now present in the unit list, allowing for easier search and filtering.

Unit DataBridge Control – Easily start or stop DataBridge and choose the operating mode directly from the Control+ app. Available for both logged-in users and quick QR code pairing. Default Metadata – Configure fallback metadata for field units, ensuring smooth operation in breaking news or productions without story assignments. Always stay ready with a generic set of metadata applied automatically when needed.

Bug fixes and functionality improvements for Video Return live feeds browsing and viewing directly from the application.

Unit Video Return Control – Users who log into the app can now access the Video Return tab to manage this feature on LiveU field units. Functionality includes selecting the desired video return channel and starting or stopping its transmission.

Bug fixes and infrastructure maintenance.

Improved visibility of device details while browsing your unit list, with a customizable column displaying battery status or device serial number. We've also added several improvements, including autofill support on the login screen and operational updates like modem authentication protocol configuration.

With this version, you can log into your account safely and quickly using your fingerprint or Face ID. You can also find the device you are looking for more easily using the search function, which now also retrieves units by their serial numbers or even the software version they are running. Additionally, you will now be able to filter your unit list view by unit type.

Unit Control – You can now control the intercom functionality of LiveU field units when pairing with the unit via QR code. Additionally, when the tally light is active, a red border will be displayed around the video preview in the app. Video Return – A preview thumbnail for each video return feed is now displayed in the VR channels list. We’ve also made several interface improvements to enhance the management of long unit lists and provide a better scrolling experience.

Audio Connect - Search functionality is now available in the audio rooms section, and the app now has an improved user interface optimized for push-to-talk. Video Return - Additional LiveU ecosystem user types can now log in and see the video return feeds available to them. Unit Control - You can now control the intercom functionality of the LiveU field units, switch the active SIM slots for all modems simultaneously, edit the file prefix for stored files and also see the tally indication in the unit control screen.

Audio Connect - Now available on mobile! Connect to audio rooms and communicate directly with field units, audio interfaces from the station, LiveU Central users, or other Control+ users. Video Return - Accessible directly in the app. Easily view your program feed on a mobile phone or tablet. You can also flip the video and use the device for prompter feed. The app is now integrated into LiveU Ingest workflows, allowing metadata story selection for your transmissions. Enhanced connectivity control with SIM switch, roaming indications, and overall bandwidth limitation.

Improvements in displaying long lists of groups, units, and channels. Bug fix - Ability to stop a multi-camera transmission.
