Blue Wednesday

A story adventure for the worn and weary at heart.

Ever felt the weight of a dream slipping away? Blue Wednesday tells the story of Morris, a passionate jazz pianist whose dedication hasn’t quite translated to success. But when his audition at Bird’s jazz bar leads him to saxophonist Angela, his grey days begin to take on new colours.

Meet the residents of vibrant Evans on the streets, in the shops and throughout the city. Everyone has an interesting story to tell.

What we love: Blue Wednesday’s point-and-click controls make it easy to get lost in the cinematic telling of a truer-than-life story. The unforgettable characters, dozens of gorgeous jazz tracks and immersive mini-games make us feel like we’re right there with Morris, every step of the way.

Quick tip: Roam the streets of Evans and listen to the stories of all the interesting characters you encounter. Their accounts may open up new choices for Morris, or perhaps new sheet music and records. Sheet music helps Morris practise the piano at home, and records can be spun on the turntable in his room.

Meet the creator: Korean developer Buff Studio is known for their story-driven games, including Underworld Office, A Story of a Company and How to Get Espers.
