Brush your cares away with this super-calming colouring app. Zen Color provides a huge selection of beautiful pictures for you to paint by number, accompanied by a soothing soundtrack to help you find your flow and unwind.

What we love: Never being short of something to colour in. There are hundreds of professionally drawn images to choose from, from ornate mandala patterns to seasonal scenes. Can’t decide what to colour? Try the app’s Daily picture or the Library tab’s Mystery section, where an image gradually reveals itself as you complete each numbered section.

Quick tip: While there’s no option to change the background music, you can skip the current tune by coming out of your work in progress and then going back into it. And, if you’re colouring at night, you can toggle the music off for a bit of quiet time (set your device to Dark Mode and the app will tone down its UI, too).
