A new hero has been inducted into the elusive ranks of Legends, and it’s none other than Goku’s father, Bardock!

Quick take: Bardock famously starred in the TV special Dragon Ball Z: Bardock – The Father of Goku, and in Dragon Ball Legends, his status grants him a special Legend action that showcases intense moments in battle. There are only three other characters with the same rarity in the game: Super Vegito, Fused with Kami Piccolo, and Super Saiyan 3 Goku (Mini), each with exclusive illustration effects and skills that set them apart from the rest.

Don’t miss: Bardock has a gauge that fills up when he or his allies take damage, and once it’s full, he enters the Indestructible State that keeps him alive with one HP even when he’s dealt an attack that would normally reduce his HP to zero. Bardock also receives buffs when his teammates are incapacitated, mirroring how he keeps fighting alone even while his companions fall in Dragon Ball Z: Bardock – The Father of Goku.
