Activating your eSIM for compatible devices is now easier than ever with the new Mobi app. And setting up your new Mobi account is even more streamlined, no need to manually enter your name, address, phone number, and email over and over again. Just order your new Mobi eSIM or physical SIM card — your new Mobi account will be created quickly and securely with Apple Pay automatically.

We've been hard at work on the new Mobi core network, eSIM support, and migrating to our new billing platform — each of which are big prerequisites for a lot of Good Things™ coming soon here in the Mobi app, so stay tuned. In the meantime... • Quick and secure checkout with Apple Pay, the easiest and most secure way to pay your monthly bill, order your SIM, and setup your Mobi account — now with support for Discover for your monthly bill, too. • We're adding additional regions getting ready for further localization support so that folks visiting or moving to the U.S. from abroad will be able to take advantage of the quick Mobi sign-up experience and, soon, lightning fast eSIM activation. • We've simplified the way we present our privacy policy, but our commitment remains the same: we'll never sell or share your information with any third-party beyond what's absolutely necessary to provide you services (i.e. our payment processor has to know your debit or credit card and billing info, our network providers are aware of your geolocation but not your identity) and build the best Mobi experience possible. • The option to deactivate and delete your account and all of the data associated with it, beyond what we're required to keep for regulatory reasons, is always available right here in the Mobi app.

1.4.0 - The Mobi app has been translated and is available in Spanish. Our Spanish-speaking care team is also standing by ready to assist with anything you may need! - We added real-time validation for a few key areas on our activation flow. - We performed an accessibility audit and made several changes throughout the app to support a wider range of accessibility features offered through iOS. - Added the functionality for our customers to submit a deactivation request from the app. - Made some changes to the login pages and account creation fields to help improve the experience. - Internal server work and bug fixes to enhance performance and align us for our next steps on the network side of things.

In this release, we worked on some improvements to the activation experience within the Mobi app. • We created a new path for activating your line if you already have a SIM card from a Mobi store, online store, or retail partner. This flow will also support eSIM activation soon. • We added a new step during activation to let you know when you should insert your new SIM card. • We updated the temporary dashboard experience if you have purchased a SIM card and are waiting to receive or activate it. • Some changes were made to ensure the security PIN you choose is compatible across legacy systems. • Various smaller bug fixes and performance improvements too small to mention (but too important to not fix).

The new Mobi app makes switching your wireless provider fast, simple, and affordable. We've fixed a few bugs with SIM ordering in this update. We’ve also added support for Apple Business Chat so that you can now easily message us if you have questions, ideas, or need some help ordering your SIM, checking to see if your phone or number can make the switch to Mobi, or activating.

You can now purchase a SIM card with your Discover Card.
