I have been following Substack because I follow and have subscribed to India cable , an excellent news and opinion platform. Through the app I have come across excellent humans through their writings . Whether be it Raju Tai, Natasha Budhwar, Darshan Rana, Matt Lillywaite, Salwa, Aaron Parnas, and famous authors like Manu Joseph and many others. It makes my day reading the trials and successes of others and it makes me feel human. I share their snippets with all my friends. The art work shown is excellent. I would recommend more people to join it. Maybe someday I would contribute. Luckily it has not been corrupted and put down by hate mangers and trolls.
Enjoying 👌🏻

App resets after backgrounding and does not restore article or comment thread
Kush Ajmera
On iOS 26.5 with Substack app version 3.0.0, the app consistently fully relaunches after about 15 minutes in the background instead of restoring the article or comment thread I was viewing. This happens on both Wi‑Fi and cellular, across all post types, and regardless of charging state or Low Power Mode. I see the splash screen on return, audio playback stops, and the app often restores an older article instead of the most recent one, while comment threads are not restored at all. Please improve session restoration so the app returns to the exact article location or discussion thread that was open before iOS terminated it.
This app is like the only productive social media app that exists!

I’ve been using this app since I bought this phone, it is like social media for nerds/ ppl who read. But unlike other social media this develops good habits like - reading, writing blogs, learning new things…And also surprisingly this makes reading articles and posts( notes) fun… So overall its a good app if this is what you are looking for.
